This is a fairly short conference piece (and, if I recall, largely lacking in citations) that I put up on my SSRN page given the ongoing debates (and the fact that I never seem to find the time to write the article-length version of it). I'm going to try to flesh it out soon-ish, but have been caught up with writing my thesis, teaching, etc.CP Hoffmanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05898361132708967545noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8514850989838320420.post-48619505526092244402011-10-08T13:26:46.066-04:002011-10-08T13:26:46.066-04:00You are doing a wonderful job in promoting Canadia...You are doing a wonderful job in promoting Canadian legal history in a very accessible online format.Gordon Scott Campbellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17556319710206988285noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8514850989838320420.post-5685004200120123722011-07-27T17:48:57.486-04:002011-07-27T17:48:57.486-04:00Author's Note:

Please note the following editorial error in the aforementioned piece. Chief Lindsay's Anishinaabe name was Kawitaskung (and there may very well be alternative spellings), not Pow-wa-sung as currently suggested by paragraph 3 on page 206.

Happy reading,

Brittany Luby
brittany.luby@gmail.comB. Or rather, they are up, but stop suddenly at 1867.

I keep saying that in five or ten years, as everything is digitized, I'll be able to do the research I've been doing much more effectively in about a third of the time. In the meantime, I suppose I'll just have to keep looking at things on microfilm or making trips to archives.CP Hoffmanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05898361132708967545noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8514850989838320420.post-27319202055770070022011-05-26T17:22:31.474-04:002011-05-26T17:22:31.474-04:00Are there any plans to offer the Osgoode Society b...Are there any plans to offer the Osgoode Society books in an ebook format?
